LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — This week Eat it Up travels to West Little Rock just off Highway 10 to Izzy’s! This family-owned spot is celebrating 40 years of burgers, salads, and their famous tamales. 

The restaurant has been a staple in the community since 1985. The menu and the taste have stayed consistent over the last four decades and the customer service is well known. 

The menu continues to feature American cuisine with a twist and their famous hand-rolled tamales. The tamales are gluten-free and the veggie tamales are vegan. 

The kitchen is a well-oiled machine turning out Izzy’s signature pizzas in just a matter of minutes courtesy of their brick oven. 

The supreme or combo pizza is one of the most ordered pies. The menu also offers plenty of vegetarian options including the messy veggie melt that Hayden called one of his favorites.
